I am a family physician. Unfortunately, I have multiple issues involving my vision. I’ve seen highly rated ophthalmologists in Arizona and North Carolina. After returning home to Hamilton I was referred to Dr. Ruhl of Flamborough Family Eyecare. My initial apprehension about seeing an optometrist was quickly put to rest. Dr Ruhl was amazing. His assessment, empathy, and communication skills were extraordinary. He patiently answered all my questions. He didn’t hesitate when asked if my wife could sit in during the decision making process. The staff at the office are happy warriors because they respect and admire Dr Ruhl’s acumen and leadership style. I strongly recommend Flamborough Family Eyecare and Dr Ruhl for all your vision needs.

We brought our 3-year-old to see Dr. Ruhl at Flamborough Family Eyecare and the experience was fantastic from beginning to end. Dr. Ruhl was incredibly kind, patient, and is great with kids - he made our daughter feel comfortable and even made the exam fun! He took the time to explain things clearly and helped try to ease any nervousness she had. The whole appointment went so smoothly, and we’re looking forward to getting the rest of the family in to see him.
