Long time user and have found the care, service and skills excellent. Both my wife and I wear glasses and find making sure they are ‘right’ is critical to success. Dr. Ruhl is easy to talk with and follows through no matter what is needed.

We saw dr Ruhl with our 4 and 6 year olds. I never saw a health professional that good with kids. He is incredibly entertaining, funny, kind. He speaks the children’s tongue better than anyone else I ever saw. And his professional advice was sound as well, of course. Favourite doctor of the kiddos hands down.

Dr. Ruhl and his staff are very friendly and make you feel very special when you are there. The doctor patiently answers my questions in a way I can understand. I highly recommend this optometry office♥️😊

Dr.Ruhl and his staff are amazing!!! Dr.Ruhl takes the time with every appointment to answer amy questions you may have. Always a smile when you greeted. I started seeing Dr.Ruhl many years ago, my then current eye clinic wouldn't squeeze me in, I thought I had an eye infection (3 docs in clinic) I called Dr.Ruhl explained my situation, I was told come in he will see you in 30 min, sure enough he prescribed me antibiotics- end of story- I highly recommend

I have also followed Dr. Ruhl from Ancaster to Waterdown. He is just that good. Knowledgeable, personable, and thorough; I feel very well taken care of. It is always a pleasure to visit his office, where Shirley will assist in no nonsense glasses selection. I have also had excellent service during COVID when I had my glasses run over outside of St Joe’s. You can’t go wrong.

I've been seeing Dr. Ruhl since he practiced in Ancaster. I am now in the hands of a specialist re my glaucoma but I still see Dr. Ruhl for my regular vision requirements. Great service and care.

Dr. Todd is great! He is friendly, professional and has great memory that makes each visit feels truly personal and not just another name on his roster. The staff are also very friendly and supportive.

The staff and Dr. Ruhl constantly go above and beyond expectations. Five stars doesn't seem enough....I am so confident in my eye care here. Dr Ruhl inspires confidence and makes the experience enjoyable. The staff cannot be beat, so helpful, so knowledgeable. I drive over an hour to get to this office and would never consider going anywhere else.

Dr Ruhl is so kind and talented. I felt so taken care of and actually enjoyed my appointment. He is a rare breed and I suggest you book an appointment before his practice is maxed out. The front end staff were compassionate and accommodating.

I was very appreciative of the service I had yesterday with Dr Ruhl and his staff.. They helped me to pick out my new glasses which is such a hard job to do on your own..

Everyone at Flamborough Family Eyecare is friendly and professional. I’m not the biggest fan of going to the eye doctor, but Dr. Ruhl makes the experience much easier. He’s funny, approachable, and really good at matching his patients’ energy, which helps you feel comfortable right away.
