Supporting Clear Vision for Every Child in Waterdown

Community care isn’t just a value; it's a way of life. It’s a daily commitment. We believe every child deserves access to quality vision care, regardless of their circumstances. That’s why we proudly take part in outreach programs that promote early detection, support local families, and remove barriers to essential eye care.

As a long-standing optometry clinic in Waterdown, we are committed to serving our community.

Eye See…Eye Learn® Program

We are a participating provider in the Eye See...Eye Learn® program—an Ontario initiative that offers free comprehensive eye exams and complimentary glasses to kindergarten students.

This program helps ensure young children can see clearly during their most crucial early learning years. Many vision issues go undetected at home or in the classroom, and early diagnosis can make a lifelong difference.

If your child is entering kindergarten at a participating school and has not yet had a recent eye exam, ask us how to get started with Eye See…Eye Learn®.

School & Community Involvement

Our team regularly partners with local schools and child-focused organizations to support vision education and early screening. From school readiness checks to classroom talks, we aim to make eye care approachable for kids and accessible for parents.

We believe that when children see clearly, they learn more confidently, engage more fully, and thrive in and out of the classroom.

Removing Barriers to Vision Care

We recognize that not every family has equal access to care, and we aim to address this disparity. We collaborate with families, utilizing insured programs, flexible options, and community referrals, to ensure every child receives the necessary vision care.

If you know a local family who may need support accessing eye care for their child, we welcome your call.

Our Commitment to Waterdown Families

As a local, independent practice, we are proud to be part of the fabric of the Waterdown and Greater Hamilton community. From supporting kindergarten vision to helping seniors manage chronic eye conditions, our outreach reflects the same values that guide our clinic: compassion, education, and long-term care.
